Who is the Most Hated Character in Anime
Kabuto Yakushi (Naruto).
I never understood him or his motives, what was the reason behind his loyalty to Orochimaru? Which felt more like submission than loyalty.
I mean why create a half-assed version of Orochimaru, when Orochimaru is still alive?
Again I never understood him, and I do know that he as a character is struggling to find his true self but it was poorly written and felt forced on the viewers.
for me, I was not interested in him or his back story I did not feel sorry for him.
And his past did not explain nor justify his actions and goals
Even in the end, we did not have any closure for his character.
Shō Tucker (Fullmetal Alchemist)
The world’s worst Dad
God, I hate him, What he did to Nina broke my heart.
He is a cruel manipulative, selfish madman that will sacrifice anything in his pursuit of power and status.
It is sickening to see how he presented himself as a caring and dedicated family man. only to discover that he used his own daughter in a scientific experiment. Without any shred of remorse or guilt for what he did.

Sakura Haruno (Naruto)
I personally don’t hate her
I hate that the fandom hates her, she is a great character and she is a great representation of females in Naruto.
She is most hated for being useless and insensitive towards Naruto (mostly anime fillers).
Yes, She used to be useless and that was the reason behind her character development. She wants to be someone who is strong and useful.
Sakura has proven again and again that she is a very talented and valuable ninja.
If her team members were other than Naruto and Sasuke she would have gotten the chance to shine brighter, but her luck of the draw.

Nina Einstein (Code Geass)
Talking about a psychotic racist mess.
Nina is justifiably hated by many viewers due to a variety of reasons. most prominent is her extreme racism, towards the (Elevens/ Japanese). On top of that, she shows unstable behavior and obsession with Princess Euphemia.
Nina had no character growth or redemption throughout the series. Her persistent racist tendencies, and involvement in morally questionable events. and unaddressed behavior made her extremely hated and annoying.

Gabi Braun (Attack on Titan)
Again I personally don’t hate her.
People are so full of contradictions, why is Gabi hated but Eren is loved?
I get that people hate her for killing Sasha, but as Sasha’s Dad puts it, she was a hunter and stayed in the forest for too long. She killed and one day she got killed.
Her character development and her understanding of the true nature of the people on the island made perfect sense. She could not be as righteous as Falco. No one could be understanding or reasonable after witnessing the painful death of the people closest to her.
She needed to see with her own eyes and live the experience herself in order to break free from the brainwash and the lies she had been told her whole life.
The only problem I have with her. That she is too strong and capable for a young girl. She pulled off things not even grown men could do.

Danzō Shimura (Naruto)
Danzō is hated for a lot of reasons. He fuelled the village’s hate and fear toward Naruto, by spreading rumors that he is the nine-tailed. He is also hated for his manipulative and power-hungry nature. Throughout the series, Danzō prioritized his own agenda and ambitions above the well-being of others.
Danzō’s ruthless methods and willingness to sacrifice innocent lives for the sake of his goals have made him one the most hated characters in anime.

As a prison doctor, he chose to abuse his position to bully and harass minors. And
Aside from being a pedophile, he is a liar and manipulative person, that does not care about the lives he has ruined.
Dino Golzine (Banana Fish)
Dino is a powerful crime boss. His manipulative and sadistic nature, combined with his ruthless pursuit of power, makes him a highly detestable character.
Dino’s actions were the source of Ash’s trauma and suffering, having manipulated and abused him since childhood.

Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto)
I don’t know where to start when it comes to Sasuke, as a character he did not get the proper development he needed as the second main character.
Throughout the series, he failed to be a good brother (since he could not respect his dead brother’s wishes). he failed as a friend (when he intentionally tried to kill his friends), he was not a good team member, a good lover, or a good father.
Sasuke’s overwhelming desire for revenge against his brother, Itachi, consumes much of his character development. He was this cold, hateful, vindictive, jealous kid.
Sasuke treated everyone with utter disrespect, starting from Kakashi to his team members, the way he used Karin as a living shield, and how he actually tried to kill Sakura!!!! that made me lose all respect for him.
Some contributing aspect to why I hate him relates to the way he was written as a character: Sasuke is considered a main character but he did not get the needed screen time to support his development and convey his actions in a relatable manner.
How he was jealous of Naruto’s growth through hard work. And how Sasuke was granted power without working hard for it (the Sharingan, the curse mark, the powers Itachi gave him, and the Double Mangekyou Sharingan, his Rinnegan).
Also, as a character he lost his objective and drive after the death of Itachi. And due to the lack of character development, he went on doing stupid things.
Suzaku Kururugi (Code Geass)
I think I have never in life hated a character as much as I hated Suzaku.
He is a traitor, he betrayed his country, his best friend, and his own beliefs.
I mean how stupid you have to be to hope that you can help your people (the oppressed) by joining the military of the oppressor!!!!! This logic alone made me so mad and disgusted with him.
And he was merely a soldier, a pawn treated like a dog. The only way he made it through the ranks was by selling out his best friend. the friend that was actually helping the people and accomplishing what he failed to do.
Oh and what did he do when he became powerful? Nothing.
How did he help his people? He did not!
On top of that, he never gave Lelouch the benefit of the doubt after what happened with Euphemia!
He never once understood Lelouch’s motives and actions, despite him being his “Best Friend”.
On the other hand, Kallen who barely knows Lelouch was able to understand him, and even if she did not she did trust that his heart was in the right place.

Why do people hate Sasuke
