AOT recap, With barely a few days between us and the final episode of Attack on Titan. this is the perfect time to have a quick summary of the main events of each season

AOT Recap – AOT Season 1 Recap
Life inside the walls:
humanity lives inside the walls to protect themself against the Titans. and within Wall Maria, We meet young Eren who dreams of joining the military to discover the outside world and fight the Titans.
We also meet his best friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert.
The Fall of Wall Maria:
- One day without any notice. a giant titan breached the Wall, which enabled the Titans to attack the people inside the walls, and Erin’s mom was eaten in front of his own two eyes.
- Eren swears vengeance against the Titans and joins the military, to fight back.
5 years have passed. Eren and his friends are officially military members, and the colossal titan makes another appearance.
Surprise! Erin is a Titan:
We discover that Eren can transform into a Titan.
This leaves many suspicious and worried about him. how he gained this power and can he be trusted to use it for the good of humanity?
The Female Titan:
During Erin’s first mission with the survey corps. A sudden and mysterious female Titan appears out of nowhere and kills the majority of the squad while searching for Erin.
We then learn that the female titan is an undercovered tractor who pretended to be a friend.
The Basement Key:
Eren’s father’s basement key is a vital clue to understanding the world beyond the walls. Season 1 ends with a promise to uncover the truth in Eren’s father’s basement, which holds the key to understanding the Titans and the world.
AOT Recap – AOT Season 2 Recap
Season one ended on such a quiet note, not really building for the second season. or so I thought, turned out that Mr. Hajime Isayama had everything planned out. within the first episodes we see events escalating and the show picked up the speed directly:
Wall Rose Breach:
The season opens with Titans mysteriously appearing inside Wall Rose, which indicates that the wall must have been breached causing panic and chaos among the people, it is true that there are Titans inside yet there is no physical damage to the wall!!!
Other undercover Titans:
Ymir also a member of the Scout Regiment, is revealed to be a Titan shifter, much like Eren, she used her powers to save her friends.
Reiner and Bertolt’s Betrayal:
- Out of nowhere Reiner and Bertolt, decided to drop a bombshell of a confession. they have exposed their true identity as the Armored and Colossal Titans. The ones responsible for the destruction of the walls 5 years ago. And their mission is to capture Eren.
- Reiner and Bertolt’s Escape: Despite suffering serious injuries, Reiner and Bertolt manage to escape with Eren and Ymir.
Eren Can Control the Titans
Eren gains access to a new power which enables him to control other Titans. However, he struggles to understand and access this ability fully.
What is the True Nature of the Titans:
Throughout the season, more mysteries emerge surrounding the true nature of the Titans. with the possibility that Titans were originally humans.

AOT Recap – AOT Season 3 Recap
A lot happened in this season, but I will keep our focus on the main points:
Historia Becomes the Queen of the Walls:
We learn that the Current king is a fraud and that the Rice Family are the true rulers of the walls. which makes Historia (a member of the Scout Regiment), the rightful Queen on the walls.
Battle for Shiganshina:
after sorting out everything that happened. the Scout Regiment is finally ready to go back to Erin’s hometown (Shiganshina) in an attempt to reach the secrets in the basement and reclaim Wall Maria from the Titans.
The Basement’s Secrets:
The season ends with the Scouts finally reaching Eren’s father’s basement, where they discover critical information about:
World Beyond the Walls:
The records describe a world outside the Walls, one that is technologically advanced and thriving.
Grisha Yeager’s Past: Eren’s father, Grisha Yeager, is revealed to be an Eldian from beyond the Walls who infiltrated the Walls with a mission. He stole the Founding Titan power from the royal family, which was passed on to Eren.
AOT Recap – AOT Season 4 Recap
The first 3 seasons were so focused on the life inside the walls. which we believed was the only form of life existing and the people inside the walls were all that remained from the human race.
After learning that there is actually a life outside the walls and it is technologically advanced and thriving it only made sense to dedicate a couple of episodes to understand and experience the life outside, and that’s exactly what happened:
The War with Marley:
Marley left the people on the island at pice because they were engaged in a war against a nation called the Mid-East Allied Forces. which possesses anti-Titan technology.
The survey Scouts are at Marley:
It was the core foundation of the survey scouts to explore the world outside the walls. so they went on their first-ever mission to infiltrate Marley and gather information.
The Attack on Liberio:
While in Marley Eren is working on his own to end the oppression against his people so he decides to attack the Marleys (battle of Liberio).
Betrayals and Alliances:
Eren wants revenge and to resolve things through violence but the other members of the Survey Corps don’t believe in his answer.
So Complex alliances and betrayals develop as various factions, including the Survey Corps and Marleyan forces, maneuver for power.
The Rumbling:
Eren reveals his plan to utilize the Founding Titan’s power to unleash the “Rumbling. which involves awakening colossal Titans within the Walls to destroy the world beyond.
