Gerard Butler, Short Bio
Gerard Butler is an actor and producer from Scotland After studying law, he decided on a career shift and began acting in the mid-1990s with small parts in movies.
He gained massive recognition for his role as King Leonidas in Zack Snyder’s fantasy epic movie 300. And received nominations for the Best Actor categories of the Saturn and Empire Awards for his performance in that role, as well as the MTV Movie Award for Best Fight. He voiced Stoick the Vast (Viking chief) In the highly acclaimed and financially successful How to Train Your Dragon series.
He has been a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the Actor’s Branch since 2011.
